Alessi italian product design house has new range
Alessi, an Italian company who design and manufacture groovy household items have for the last couple of years been working in conjunction with the Taiwan National Palace Museum. The collaboration started when the museum wished to open itself to the international scene to encourage greater awareness of Chinese history and asked Alessi to design a mascot. Alessi in turn asked one of the famous designer Stefano Giovannoni for help. He set out drawing and the Family of Mr Chin was born. In 2008 he again designed some further pieces and the Orientales family grew.
