Finding a five star hotel in a foreign country is not always easy. Thankfully my husband recently came across a website that gives descriptions of hotels and their accommodations along with a rating. I recently came to Bangkok for a family vacation, and we stayed at the Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside. The staff that welcomed us was very courteous and friendly. The check-in process was easy. When we got to our room, we found it to be very spacious. The bed was comfortable as well, and none of us had any problems falling asleep. The room was quiet as well. In the morning, we always ate at the hotel’s breakfast buffet which was really, really good. The hotel runs a shuttle service as well, which was handy for getting to and from the airport. Overall, we had a great stay here, and we would not hesitate to come back.

I recently had a business trip to Manhattan, and stayed at the Club Quarters World Trade Center. It is a wonderful hotel for business travelers located close to the future site of the 1776 foot Freedom Tower. One of the things I like is that every floor has a purified water dispensers. It is amazing how hard it is to get water for drinking unless you want tap. The guest room itself is very nice with a comfortable queen bed. One thing I like is that I can book a room for the day instead of an overnight stay, which could be useful for a trip where I want to return home the same day.
