 To FACES & LIVES

It will be exciting to know a little about the writer or contributor, at least an image and a brief background, as they express and shape their ideas and imaginations, their interpretation of words and meaning, their deep insights and feelings. It makes us understand and appreciate the context of their works better.
 

These images are often taken mainly from photographs or books – and it may be representations of painting, sketches, engravings or even sculpture. We prefer them to be real, smiling and candid, though some are pretty stern and serious, and these offer at least some insight to their character and the words to which we would be reflecting deeply upon.

As for the summaries, they are intentionally brief and compact or we may still be researching on. We hope this biographical index will eventually encompass as many of the writers we have indicated as possible - including those whose works are referred to but not available here due to copyright reasons.

For those writers who may still read their summaries, an update will be necessary from time to time. And for those who will not be, we welcome any input that may give us a better look at their faces and lives.
